BILS is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the Israeli Shekel (ILS) and issued by Bits of Gold, a regulated crypto financial services provider in Israel. Each token is fully backed by corresponding ILS reserves held within Israeli banking institutions. The project provides compliant on-chain access to shekel-denominated value, enabling digital payments, peer-to-peer transfers, and commercial settlement while maintaining a direct, secure link to the traditional Israeli financial system.
