Description
The Manifest Network is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) built to give developers and enterprises cloud compute that they control. It addresses the dependence of AI and enterprise workloads on a small number of centralized cloud providers by running infrastructure in independently operated, enterprise-grade data centers, including Cold War communication bunkers converted into hardened facilities under Project Bedrock.
Function: The network supplies S3-compatible storage, Kubernetes-ready clusters, Postgres databases and CPU and GPU compute from Tier 3 and Tier 4 data centers, with a 99.99% uptime target. Agent1, its cloud-agnostic agent layer, provisions these services from natural-language requests and can orchestrate workloads across AWS, GCP and other providers. The network runs a dual-chain architecture: a Cosmos SDK based chain secured by Proof of Authority with IBC connectivity, and the MANY Chain, which handles compute credits.
Utility: $MFX is the network’s utility and governance token. It is used to provision services, to vote on protocol upgrades and funding allocations, and to reward node operators. $MFX is burned to mint $PWR compute credits, which are spent on services within the network. Manifest Network is developed by The Lifted Initiative and is a Dell Global Partner.
