SELF is a privacy app operated by SELF Technology Pty Ltd in Australia. It launched in December 2025 and is live at https://self.app. One account covers private AI, encrypted file storage, messaging, voice and video calls, mail, calendar, office documents, a wallet and browser-based network validation. SELF Technology Limited, a separate company in the British Virgin Islands, issues the SELF token. The Australian company does not issue it. A user signs in with a passkey. Encryption keys come from a 12-word recovery phrase on the device, and SELF never receives those keys. Protected content is encrypted in the browser before it is stored. Text AI runs on SELF's own servers with a 27 billion parameter model. Ordinary chats are not sent to an outside model. The free tier, SELF Zero, includes 5 AI messages a day. SELF Connect is US$20 a month, with a 3-day trial, and includes 100 AI messages a day plus mail and calendar. SELF is an ERC-20 on Ethereum.
