Silicon Network (SIL) is a decentralized AI infrastructure project designed to make powerful open-source AI models more accessible through a distributed network of Apple Silicon Macs. Its platform aims to provide a unified API for AI inference, supporting multiple models and developer-friendly integrations. By coordinating distributed computing resources, Silicon Network seeks to offer an alternative to centralized AI infrastructure. The SIL token has a fixed supply of one billion tokens and is intended to support future network participation through planned utilities such as staking, operator bonding, and rewards. These token utilities are still under development.
