Description
Veil is a non-custodial privacy protocol on Solana that enables users to deposit supported tokens into a shielded balance, transfer funds privately, swap through Jupiter, and access lending through Jupiter Lend. It uses encrypted notes and Groth16 zero-knowledge proofs to verify transactions while concealing ownership and private transfer details. Keys and proofs are generated locally in the user’s browser, while relayers submit transactions to the network. Veil also supports withdrawals to standard Solana addresses or one-time addresses derived from the user’s vault. Deposits and withdrawals remain publicly visible, and privacy depends on factors including pool activity, transaction amounts, and timing. An SDK and HTTP APIs provide tools for developers to integrate the protocol.
