Ethos Network is an onchain reputation protocol deployed on Base (Ethereum L2). The protocol enables users to build verifiable credibility through vouching (staking tokens to express trust in another user), onchain reviews, attestations linking offchain identities, and a slashing mechanism that imposes financial consequences for misplaced trust. All data is recorded in public smart contracts and is permissionless; any third party can read and build on the credibility graph. The front end at app.ethos.network, operated by Ethos Labs, provides one interpretation of the onchain data. $WHUF is the native token used for vouching, protocol fees, and contributor rewards within the Ethos protocol.
