Wrapped emUSD is the staked version of emUSD and is a yield-bearing stablecoin. It is backed by regulated funds managed by the largest asset managers in the world, and the yield it distributes comes from these funds. Backing for strategies in regulated funds is limited to the staked supply of emUSD. As a result, users holding the non-staked version of emUSD do not invest in a strategy. wemUSD has a 3-day unstaking cooldown period.
